Our Mission & Purpose

The mission and purpose of the Mt. Enon Baptist Church is to facilitate a Life Changing Experience to ALL people with an inclusive Christocentric Ministry to carry out the mandate of Jesus by transforming lives according to the Word of God in Matthew 28:18-20. This will be accomplished according to Ephesians 4:11-12 by meeting the needs of the total person by: Exalting the Savior, Equipping and Edifying the Saints, and Evangelizing the Sinner.


Five Goals of MEBC

1. A WORSHIPPING CHURCH

Every member seeking fellowship with God in SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH through prayer, praise and worship.

2. A LEARNING CHURCH

Every member committed to Bible study and their spiritual development by participating in Christian Education classes offered.

3. A SOUL-WINNING CHURCH

Each one REACH ONE. Every member demonstrating the love of God by touching the untouched and reaching the unreached through genuine CHRISTIAN CONCERN and FELLOWSHIP. To love people and let God save them.

4. A TITHING CHURCH

Every member a tither, giving 10% of time, talent and treasure. This is the biblical way of financing the WORK OF THE KINGDOM without begging. 

5. A MAKING A DIFFERENCE CHURCH

Every member making a difference in the world by showing people who we are by the LOVE WE SHOW through outreach and giving back.
